SPRING IT ON!

Working the spring trends into your winter wardrobe

It sure is chilly outside with snow finally falling and strong winds blowing, but that doesn’t mean you can’t think of warm spring weather. Here are a few ways that you can spruce up your winter wardrobe and be ready for when the flowers begin to bloom.

1. Nothing says summertime like “ahoy sailor!” Throw this sweater on and imagine you’re on a yacht. ‘Emma’ Stripe Sweatshirt, Joie, $128 USD, available at Nordstrom.

2. Romanticize the winter flurry with intricate lace patterns, layered frills and cap sleeves. Blouse, by Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony, $370 USD, available at SSENSE.

3. We noticed a lot of edgy attitudes showcased in New York’s Spring 2012 shows. Slip on this ring set to tell winter that it ought to be on its way out. “Estates” ring set by Rachel Leigh,$60 CDN, available at Dealuxe.

4. Find yourself dancing up and down the retro and brights path with this red-orange hue. “Cover Me Petals” by OPI, $9.50 USD, available at Sephora.

5. Daring? Be flashy with these skinny jeans. Toothpick Jeans, by J.Crew, $108 USD, available at J.CREW.
