Taking his focus away from the sharp shoulders of past collections, this season Todd Lynn (easily one of the loveliest designers in the game!) zoned in on the hips, bringing a more romantic and soft take to rocker chic to close The Shows at the Ritz Carlton in Toronto on Friday night. Sleeker silhouettes, bustling pleats of satin and cut outs at the hips were the main attraction at Lynn, if, of course, you forget about the sky-high, caged beige Louboutin boots (a collaboration between the two labels), which contained hits of pink, blue and red, and had editor’s dying to get their hands on them all while hoping the models didn’t take a tumble. Our pick, the high necked, blue silk dress, with pleated longer panels at the sides. And those boots!!
