Reaching a major milestone, Tiffany’s celebrates design and it’s famed designer Elsa Peretti
This year marks the 175th Anniversary for jewelry mega-brand Tiffany & Co, and we couldn’t help but peruse the archives of the famed house, known for it’s bluey-mint boxes and being synonymous with fashionable design. One Tiffany’s mainstay, Elsa Peretti, who has been designing with the company for almost 40 years, is almost as well-known as the brand itself. A world-native (she has lived in Barcelona and New York and traveled the globe extensively), Peretti’s trinkets are inspired by her love of nature, the arts and architecture. Once a model and muse for Salavdor Dali and Halston, and a friend to Diane Vreeland and Andy Warhol, the gorgeous Peretti is known for her attention to craftsmanship and her many award-winning, iconic designs, including the Open Heart and Diamonds by the Yard necklaces, her Bean design and, the one that we can never take our eyes off of, the Bone Cuff, inspired by a human bone.
Cuff (in sterling silver), $910 and (in gold), $9,900, both Tiffany & Co Elsa Peretti.
