THINK PINK

Four hot beauty buys in support of breast cancer awareness month

Knock on wood, we’ve never been directly affected by breast cancer, but we know many people who have. October is breast cancer awareness month and to help spread the word, we wanted to feature our favourite Pink products, all donating moneys in the name of breast cancer research.

With one bottle of Clinique’s classic Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion sold every 5 minutes, and with $10 of each sale going towards the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the Pink edition is sure to help raise some cash during this month. The mega beauty brand is also launching a special edition key chain, consisting of some Clinique faves, with $4 going to the cause.

1. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion, $45.50, available at The Bay, Holt Renfrew, Sears and Sephora across Canada, or Ogilvy in the province of Quebec.

2. Key ring, $19.50, available at The Bay, Murale, Sears, Shoppers Drug Mart across Canada.

With their relationship now in its fourth year, OPI is once again supporting Rethink Breast Cancer by launching Pink of Hearts, a light pink lacquer, which contains no DBP or Formaldehyde, for the month of October. And OPI will be generously donating $5,000 to the organization.

3. OPI Pink of Hearts 2010 Edition nail lacquer, $10.95, available at professional salons and spas across Canada.

A FRM fave, Palmer’s Cocoa Butter will for the first time be partnering with the Breast Cancer Society of Canada by releasing four Pink products in honour of BCAM.
