Hudson’s Bay brings The Room to Vancouver
Sprawling over 23,000 square feet on its’ own, the highly anticipated The Room now joins The White Space on the second floor of The Bay in downtown Vancouver. And in typical leader form, the high-end retail heaven was turned into party central to mark the official opening on Thursday night. Floating through the boutique-y floor, chatting with guests were Fashion Television’s Jeanne Beker, eTalk personality Jessie Cruickshank, designers Brian Atwood and Erdem Moralioglu, along with the face of The Room’s fall campaign, Canadian model Jessica Stam, all while fashion’s favorite NYC DJ, Alexandra Richards, spun for the crowd. Minimalist-chic mannequins outfitted in Jason Wu, Proenza Schouler, Alaïa and Maison Martin Margiela are just a few of the more than 35 runway designers accessible for the first time in Vancouver, many exclusively, now uniting the fashion conscious shopper with a world-class feel, all under the roof of one of Canada’ favorite department stores.
