Swimwear designer Sherise Cromwell’s line Reesé and our last goodbye to summer
Summer is quickly coming to an end, so it is time to soak up what we can of the sun. If you are heading to the beach to catch those last few rays, try fun, risky and classy swimsuits designed by Sherise Cromwell, 22, also known as Reesé. Cromwell started building her brand a year ago and she is now determined to set a base with her creative and edgy work, in which the great outdoors is her main muse. “My inspiration for this collection comes from florals, tie dye, international beaches and city lights,” Cromwell tells FrontRowMag.com.
“I appreciate the small details [other designers] put into their work—the texture, the material and pleating in their designs,” says Cromwell, whose favourite designers include Proenza Schouler, Rodarté and Rick Owens.
Describing her style as boho chic or indie, Cromwell is all about mixing and matching with her swimwear. “I would love to see my swimwear on any average girl and see celebrities as Adriana Lima and Rihanna wearing them, that would be amazing,” says Cromwell.
