MIX MASTER
Suno Fall 2011
The jumble of textures and patterns presented at the Suno presentation this past weekend appeared harmonious rather than contrived, as artfully mixed jewel tones compete for one’s visual attention. Best known for its tribal prints and bright cotton fabrics, Suno’s Fall 2011 collection was decidedly more sophisticated, incorporating printed silk florals and plaids with oversized knits. Featuring accessories by local designers including shoes by Loeffler Randall, jewelry from Lizzie Fortunato Jewels and hats by milliner Albertus Swanepoel, it was New York affair with a worldly twist.
