Stacey Zhang opens new boutique on Queen West
Montreal designer Stacey Zhang, who incorporates environmentally friendly fabrics where she can into each collection, already has a following at home and in Toronto. And that following is about to grow exponentially, thanks to her new boutique the very traffic heavy Queen Street West stretch between John St. and Spadina Ave. Pregnant with her first child, Zhang, who believes it’s important for her brand to stand next to retail chains like Zara and H&M, stopped in to her new sleek, white and pink space recently to meet with media, show off the store and preview her fall collection. Chalk full of tailored blazers, flowy blouses, prints, and cocktail dresses, the SZ boutique should draw the attention of women looking for well cut, quality, affordable (prices range from $70 to $350) pieces.
