“I just asked the question and thankfully he was available,” Kim Newport-Mimran told FrontRowMag.com this afternoon of her luck when it came to booking model Andrej Pejic for her Spring 2012 runway show on Day 3 of LG Fashion Week. Pejic was the muse behind said collection, where the designer took a ’60s silhouette and modernized if for 2012, and it wass clearly serendipitous that he walked after Newport-Mimran used a photograph of Pejic with a rose in his mouth as inspiration for spring. “It was so great he could walk the show.” Consisting of power stretch knit dresses, silk wool capris (our favourite a crimson pair styled with a sheer crimson blouse), shirt dresses (Pejic wore one in cobalt blue with a thick leather cutout belt) and her famous dress shirt, still thankfully leaning towards chic pj-dressing.
