Chanel No.5 and the Musée d’Orsay
To many, Paris is regarded the fashion capital of the world, so it comes as no surprise there you’ll find a fusion of cultural and historical elements along with the “haute” and more contemporary interests of the fashion enthusiast. While wandering through the crowds this month at the Soldes, be sure to add the Musée d’Orsay, which mostly features art dating from the Second Empire up until the end of WWI, but for most of the month of January (from the 6th until the 28th) the museum’s exterior will be adorned by a product placement of a hand-sewn sequined 2,890 sq ft Chanel No. 5 bottle.
