Pink Tartan Spring 2012
Delivering some Canadian flare across the border, designer Kim Newport-Mimran showcased her Spring 2012 collection for Pink Tartan on Saturday morning. Retro styling was in full force, with hemlines hitting above the knee and solid oranges and blues painting many of the pieces. Balancing the clean whites that dotted the collection were contrasting blacks and polka dots and the collection will surely make its way into everyone’s closet—adding that bit of necessary summer liveliness.
