Miki Mialy Spring/Summer 2011
As guests entered the intimate space for the Miki Mialy Spring 2011 show, the calming sound of crickets chirping filled the room. With a collection featuring bohemian styled pieces, models stepped out onto the catwalk one by one in warmed shades of beige, taupe, and gray. Mialy’s use of textures and soft prints complemented one another as her designs seemed to flow effortlessly. Edgier pieces in darker tones soon followed, somehow still holding on to that bohemian aesthetic.
