Chanel says “Think Pink!” this holiday season
With pink and bronze tones highlighted in the Les Tenatations de Chanel Christmas Makeup collection, it’s easy to feel some festive cheer in this chilly weather. Les Tissages de Chanel ($52) is a pink blush in Tweed Fuchsia with flecks of gold pressed into the powder to take on the appearance of the iconic Chanel tweed. Les 4 Ombres ($61) is an eye shadow compact with iridescent and metallic finishes to soften the look of eyes. Peter Philips, global creative director for Chanel makeup suggests taking the daytime look of the soft shadows and apply them damp for a seductive evening look. Use Ombre D’Eau ($37) in Splash, a frosted bronze, to blend over the eyelid or used as an eyeliner. Swipe your lips with one of two Rouge Coco lipsticks in Patchouli, a warm light copper, and Magnolia, a soft pink ($38 each). But if you’re a gloss girl, go for Lèvres Scintillantes in Pink Pulsion ($31) a sophisticated fuchsia. Echoing the pink of the cheeks and lips, pick up Le Vernis in Pulsion ($26), an intense pink that will make your nails look merry and bright.
