The girls from Label continue to prove that organic and environmentally friendly sourced fabrics do not have to be frumpy with their relaxed, sexy and chic Spring 2012 collection. In a well-edited 12-piece collection, Label’s consistent use of bamboo cotton was put to good use in the form of floor length skirts and dresses in a palette of moss green, lavender, black and grey, inspired by Canadian cottage country, complete with a driftwood lined runway with models perching on stone alongside for editor’s and fans to get a closer look. Also tops was the soundtrack, which included “Night Caller” from the Drive soundtrack and Toronto-based crooner The Weeknd.
