PRETTY ON THE OUTSIDE

Once again proving that sustainable doesn’t have to be boring and mumsy, Shawna Robinson and Natalie Sydoruk of Label (showing for the first time at LG Fashion Week, in the intimate Studio runway room) sent their girls down slinking through the runway in looks fit for any punky, “Skinny Little Bitch.” Inspired by the early ’90s grunge era, and paired with high-heeled Dr. Marten’s, the collection consisted of menswear-inspired shirts, with satin sheen pockets, long john-esque floor length and thigh graving frocks, as well as rocker tees, leather leggings and velvet pants. Our favourite look? Easily the opening grey wool poncho, with a perfectly placed black leather panel on the front.
