Canadian label Juma seeks funding on Kickstarter
Juma’s sibling, Alia and Jamil Juma, are going on the creative, and no, we’re not just talking about their designs. With hopes to show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City for the first time this September, the duo is seeking monetary donations through fund-raising platform and start-up Kickstarter. The line is looking to hit a goal for $26,000 and have until Friday, August 26th at 4:00 PM EST to do so. While the minimum donation is $1, there are tiers that have special rewards, including coveted totes, clutches and scarves, all from the Juma line.
