IMPERFECT/PERFECT

Eliza Kozurno’s latest collection of statement baubles is full of masterly mixed bracelets, necklaces, earrings and one-shoulder fringed accesories (think: leftover scraps of leather, feathers, ribbon and beading, mostly held together with crotcheted or knitted threads), creating very unique film noir-inspired pieces. FrontRowMag met with the lovely designer, who established her line over 4 years ago, and her equally lovely husband, recently during her showcase at Queen West’s Chasse Gardée, to chat about this latest collection, titled Imperfect Dream. Having studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz, Poland, Kozurno was taught how to knit around the age of 7, and is self-taught at the art of crotchet. Already selling at two boutiques in New York City, the Imperfect Dream collection runs between $59 and $529. Visit elizakozurno.com.
