Hermann & Audrey present interactive works at 99 Gallery for Scotiabank Contact 2011
Mixing motion activated technology, photography, illustration and large format printing the current Hermann & Audrey exhibit at 99 Gallery at 99 Sudbury is a perfect blend of high fashion, street art and new media. Consisting of works from H&A’s stable of well recognized photographers, the well-curated show features ‘Moving Pictures’ by Steve Carty, which takes a close-up look at some gorgeous faces, ‘Flip Hop,’ a flip book takes the spectator through Toronto graffiti artist SKAM and Elicser’s process of creating street art, and, perhaps our favourite of the exhibit, ‘Ashern Prophecy’ by Cory Vanderploeg and Scott McIntyre, an interactive, high fashion shoot where the viewer gets to change the perspective of each shot via touch screen.
The Hermann & Audrey Scotiabank Contact exhibit runs from May 6th until May 22nd at 99 Gallery, 99 Sudbury.
