Greta Constantine Spring 2011
Over an hour late, and held in what was once an after hours on Spadina Avenue in downtown Toronto, Stephen Wong and Kirk Pickersgill showed their Spring 2011 Greta Constantine collection to a packed and buzzing crew of fashion insiders, media and family. Opening and closing the show, which consisted of GC’s signature draped gowns, this time also in thin, soft knits, was model of the moment Coco Rocha, who looked stunning in cream shorts and a white flowy blouse on her first exit, as well as the blush coloured gown on her last. This season Wong and Pickergill added suede jodhpurs, platform wedge heels, dripping in chains and bling, and beige leather hidden belts to their already strong showing of the kind of dresses and gowns they do best.
