GOING ROGUE
Greta and Ezra Constantine Spring 2012
After parading out their signature jersey dresses in sherbet shades (think blush pink, bright orange and the like), the team at Greta Constantine, perhaps inspired by their recent off shoots Skin and Primer, added hits of sumptious leather and soft heather grey t-shirt dresses and flowing tops to their Spring 2012 roster, the first showing of Toronto’s so-called Rogue Fashion Week. Rocked out with zipper and chain detailing, the new Greta girl is tougher and more hard edged, with hits of a greeny/grey pattern, sheer panels and drop crotched pants, or skinnies with the addition of a massive pocket attached to the front or sides, via the aforementioned zippers. While a bit more rough and tumble than we’re used to from GC, there’s something for the die hard fan, as well as the newbie. Meanwhile, Ezra, as usual, saw our boys sporting ripped tanks, drop crotch pants, all on the dark side of things, complete with a “Fuck Off” tat on one of the male models lean shoulders. Indeed.
