FORTNIGHT LINGERIE SPRING 2011

Class and elegance are just a few of the moods expressed through Fortnight Lingerie’s Spring 2011 collection, which debuted on the final day of LG Fashion Week in Toronto. The pieces on display embraced the tight tailoring and subtle details for which Fortnight has been recognized, and the nude and black palette gave the undergarments an intimate feel. Fortnight enhanced the era mood with the classic film Blow Up by Michelangelo Antonioni playing behind their now familiar logo. Lace covering and satin sheen were strong features of the line, keeping with fashion week trends, all while maintaining a retro edge with vintage silhouettes and flattering lines. Fortnight designer Christina Remenyi, 29, was present for her second show with fashion week, and offered sizing tips for her A to E cup collection.
