FIT TO STRUT

Canadian model and some-time television host Coco Rocha brought some of her fashionable friends home to Toronto last week to host the second annual Strut For A Cure, a charity event she started in 2009 with her young cousin Erika, benefiting the Coast-to-Coast Against cancer organization. With over 1,000 of Hog Town’s best dressed in attendance, Todd Lynn, designer to rock legends and fashionista’s alike, showed his luxe Fall 2010 collection of leather’s, furs and shaved lamb, with the soon to be married Ms. Rocha making the coveted first exit, natch. Also in attendance, designer’s Kirk Pickersgill of Greta and Ezra Constantine, Arthur Mendonça, Holt Renfrew’s Natalie Lecomte, looking stunning in black Mikhael Kale, hip group Dragonette, and a smattering of bloggers and blogette’s, including The Huffington Post’s Marissa Bronfman, as well as a host of international dj’s like JoJo Flores and Adrian Villanova. Hosted by fashion icon Jeanne Beker, the evening raised over $46,000. Sponsored by Rimmel London (Coco is the face of their new campaign) and Fashion Magazine, the party kept going well into the night with many dancing and mingling on The Berkeley Church outdoor patio, where the live runway show and mini Dragonette concert was screened on the building next door.
