Fashion’s Night Out, New York City
As much as one might try to plan some semblance of an itinerary for the second annual Fashion’s Night Out extravaganza on September 10th, there were simply too many fabulous and bold-faced events to attend in one evening. There was an activity for everyone, from Bingo at Lanvin to The Crangi Family oyster shucking shindig, but they were all happening at the same time all across the city! We kept a low profile in Soho and found massive line-ups outside Chanel and Piperlime, one-night-only discounts at Mango and American Eagle Outfitters, and delicious free drinks everywhere. Our favorites moments? Tim Gunn meeting fans at Kate Spade, the delicious antioxidant-infused cocktails at Korres, and threeASFOUR performing Yoko Ono’s “Cut Piece” at the MoMA design store. Only in New York, folks!
