Mark Fast for Atelier Swarovski Spring 2011
After successfully collaborating with sparkly power house Swarovski for his Spring 2011 collection, Mark Fast announced last week that he is once again pairing up with the famous brand, this time designing a line of necklaces, bracelets and earrings inspired by his late grandmother Olga and a vintage necklace she owned. Fast, whose line comes in shades of air blue opal, silver crystals and rose stones, is the only Canadian among a star-studded roster of collaborators. For Spring 2011, Swarovski also sought out other design talents, such as Joseph Altuzzara, Prabal Gurung, jewelry designer Jenny Manik Merican and costumer and Oscar-winner Michael Kaplan (Blade Runner, Fight Club).
