Canadian design genius Denis Gagnon opens his first boutique in Montreal
Denis Gagnon, often called Canadian fashion’s enfant terrible, has gone legit with the recent grand opening of his namesake boutique on St. Paul West in Old Montreal. Gagnon’s intricate designs hang just-so in the stark concrete floored space, which is lined with sleek white walls, and also features his accessories collaborations with shoe retailer Aldo, a selection of prêt-a-porter items and even looks by another famed Montreal designer, Travis Taddeo.
Next up for Gagnon, Garden of Roses: Denis Gagnon Interprets Alice, coming next month to this year’s Luminato arts festival. Garden of Roses runs from June 10th-19th at 225 King Street West.
