CHANGES AT ANDY THE-ANH
Montreal-based designer Andy The-Anh unveiled his new Yorkville store last week with a cocktail party to celebrate the new look of the label, as well as the new space, just around the corner from his first Toronto boutique. Mingling among the wares was accessories designer Jenny Bird, So You Think You Can Dance Canada’s Tre Armstrong, ASC PR’s Alexandra Weston and Natasha Penzo, and branding maven Jen Newton.The innovative new space holds stock for each item in a pull out closet behind the in-store display’s. Etienne Lecompte, president of Andy The-Anh, explained that this unique feature not only eliminates the need for a stock room in the back, but also for the salesperson to abandon the customer while off to search for a size. If only our own closets were as well equipped!
A second Toronto location is coming later this spring in Bayview Village Shopping Centre.
