CHANEL’S NEW NEUTRALS
Lately it seems that every season fashion insiders are as keen to see the nail colour on models coming down Chanel’s runway as they are to see the collection itself. So, not surprisingly for Spring 2010, Chanel’s must-have shade is Particulière, which is taupe with a hint of a grey and reddish-brown undertone.
If that particular shade sells-out, as Chanel nail lacquer’s tend to do, opt for Inattendu, a refined nude, or try Tendresse, a perfect soft pink. All three neutral colours complement the upcoming spring trends, from pretty pastoral milkmaid to chic military fatigues. (13ml, $26, available at Chanel counters January 18th) Chanel.com
