GLAMOUR SHOT
Caroline Charles Fall 2011
Light classical music filled the British Fashion Council show space as designer Caroline Charles showcased her eponymous Fall 2011 collection to an eager audience. Known for her sophisticated and “grownup glamour” aesthetic, Charles’ models strolled down the runway in designs carrying an air of equestrian and country club styles. Well-tailored blazers and knee-length skirts dominated the collection, with hits of texture and print as embellishments throughout. The highlights of the show, though, were the sequined dresses and blazers that are evening-chic must-haves any woman could add to her closet.
