Entering through a gated courtyard along rue Rambuteau, the noises often associated with the busy Parisian streets – bustling pedestrians, the ringing of bicycle bells and roaring of car engines – came to a halt on Thursday evening as guests escaped into A Glass House to view Canadian-born designer Calla Haynes’ latest collection. Known for her beautifully crafted prints, Haynes presented a collection rich in both solids and prints. And with the strong color contrast between the two sets of looks, one featuring deep reds and the other showcasing strong blues, it is without a doubt that this collection is Haynes’ best so far.
