BRING ON BROSE
Last week, FrontRowMag got a sneak peek of Brose’s Fall 2010 Collection at the Thrush Holmes Gallery in Toronto. Toronto-based Marika Brose began her line in 2009 and has quickly become the go-to designer for fun and wearable cocktail and evening dresses. Her latest collection is full of dark, romantic, straight from the boudoir themed pieces, with plush velvet coats, silk dresses and lace wrap tops. Hand sewn embellishments and brocade numbers have a hint of sparkle and elegance, perfect for a special night out. Considering this is a fall collection, it was great to see sleeves, meaning dressing up in the cooler temperatures doesn’t always require a jacket or sweater to cover up and stay cozy.
