Our newest obsession? Danish company Ilse Jacobsen’s perfectly grown-up rain boots, available in a plethora of fashionable colors and heights to complement your wardrobe.

The company, founded in 1993 and based in Copenhagen, designs footwear made out of natural rubber that is at once classic and distinctive. Ilse Jacobsen was imported to Canada just a few years ago by a Danish couple who happened to relocate to the small town of Lucknow, Ontario, and now act as the brand’s unofficial ambassadors in North America. Lucky for us, since these signature lace-up wellies, featuring a soft felt lining and sharply contrasting laces, are so cute that you might not want to change into heels once you get to the office. And that’s saying something.
