Celebrating its fifth year in business, Body Blitz Spa, located at 471 Adelaide Street West in Toronto, recently launched a new line of products to bring the spa experience home. Blitz on the Go is an all-natural collection featuring seven products containing elements from the earth and sea, as well as botanicals with properties benefiting the skin. Argan oil is a popular ingredient in many hair care products these days, but is also known for anti-aging and skin-protecting qualities, with its high percentage of essential fatty acids and vitamin E and is utilized in the argan Oil Face Serum ($65) and Replenish Face Moisturizer ($45). The Exfoliating Face Wash ($28) uses apricot seed kernel powder as a natural exfoliant, while green tea extract and sea kelp nourishes the skin. The spray on Balancing Skin Toner ($22) helps to seal moisture in with argan oil, aloe vera and pro-vitamin B. Our favourite is the Green Clay Face Mask ($28), made with sea kelp and green clay, which helps to draw out toxins from the pores to brighten dull skin. For the rest of the body, there’s the Mint-Lime Body Wash ($18) and Mint-Lime Body Lotion ($22), both of which are full of nourishing ingredients including, yep, you guessed it, argan oil. Until we can build our own Dead Sea salt pool at home, we’ll have to keep picking up these Bliz on the Go products after our visits to the women only facility.
