Whimsical and chic, Beatrix Ong‘s Spring 2011 footwear and accessories collection is as accomplished and diverse as the young designer herself. Educated at Central St. Martins, the former creative director of couture at Jimmy Choo began designing her eponymous footwear line in 2002, and has since collaborated with the likes of Topshop and Nike, all while expanding her eponymous brand to include small leather goods and men’s footwear. For spring, we’re obsessed with the textural contrast, graphic lines, and soft-hues of the crystal-inspired collection. Classic silhouettes such as brogues and wedges are subtly transformed and renewed in Ong’s capable hands.
