BANANAS FOR MAD MEN

Banana Republic launches their first-ever Mad Men-inspired collection

The last 10 months have been tough for Mad Men devotees and to fill that void of 1960s nostalgia Banana Republic teamed up with the hit show’s Emmy award-winning costume designer Janie Bryant for a collection inspired by the workplace drama. Currently available at North American stores and online, the 65-piece collection of men’s and women’s apparel and accessories capture the clean lines and polish of the era with a modern update. Notable pieces include a tweed jacket ($215) and skirt ($110) suit Betty can be seen wearing on the campaign trail with Henry Francis, and a navy and black oversized houndstooth printed pencil dress ($185) that would flatter Joan’s curves. The men can snap-up a grey shawl-neck sweater ($185) that Pete Campbell may wear at the county club or a fedora ($62) that Don and Roger wear on a daily basis.
