Rad by Rad Hourani Fall 2012

The Jordanian/Canadian designer Rad Hourani did Lisbeth Salander’s androgynous look before Girl With The Dragon Tattoo was even a movie. And for the first time since launching his eponymous label, and his diffusion line called Rad by Rad Hourani, the createur brought his label to Canada, unofficially closing the week with leather harnesses, hits of moss green, slick back hair and minimal makeup, not to mention stunners Liisa Winkler, Tara Gill, Amanda Laine and Naro walking among a smattering of men. Meant to be truly unisex, the designer, who presented a five minute, black and white opening video celebrating his 5 years in the business, has once again proven why he was been invited by Anna Wintour and Franca Sozzani to present Rad Hourani 6 in September of this year at the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Vogue Fashion Fund at the Vogue Italy Talents exhibition. Bravo Rad!
