Attitude Jay Manuel
Canada’s Next Top Model host Jay Manuel presented his debut collection with Sears, aptly titled Attitude Jay Manual, with a bevy of Top Model contestants and winners walking for the show. With a heightened production value and the allure of the sleek black runway (installed and removed specially for the show) seats were packed, even overflowing to the end of the catwalk. Featuring interesting colour combos and an impressive look book for the front rows, audiences were hard-pressed to not find at least one enticing piece. Some recognizable faces graced the runway including Dani Evans, America’s Next Top Model 6 winner and Rebecca Hardy, winner of CNTM 1. Manuel opened the show with a documentary-style autobiographical account of his work over the past months that led to his current collection. Marine blue, indigo, raspberry and jade were mixed with bright faux fur. A step up in uniqueness from last season, yet still at a reasonable price, Attitude Jay Manuel will certainly be modeled this fall by frugal fashionistas.
